the El Matador Presents This posters was designed
for the Famous Monsters for their Halloween show. Famous Monsters had
to change there name to fabulous monsters due to ownership of the magazine
changing over, the band features sean y. bassist from White Zombie.
Poster was designed this way with a cover like an EC comic from the
60'ssince the band spoofs off of old horror movies and shows from that
time. I designed this rest of the poster to refect a comicbook layout
with each following square refering to other shows happening that week.
The main image of the person in the cloak is coofin joe mexico's #1
horror cult star. Other images like the girl in the crystal ball and
the figure in the background are all inspired from different coffin
joe movies. The bottom image of shows a 3 headed doll murdering its
creator. Image was inspired by a member the band who is a talented doll

Image is inspired by the Royal Finger Bowl, it is the Royal Finger Bowl
king who decapitates ones fingers to eat them at lunch. |
